Mariya Yaneva joined Elvaston in 2017 and has 5 years of experience in the private equity industry with a focus on technology buyouts. At Elvaston, she is responsible for the logistics and transport sector as well as the construction sector. Her former employers include Investitionsbank Potsdam, Rocket Internet and BASF, where she worked in venture capital and financial controlling.

She holds a Master of Science in Finance and Accounting from the University of Applied Sciences in Berlin. During her studies, Mariya completed a semester abroad at Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance.
