Oliver Thum is one of the two founding partners of Elvaston. He has more than 25 years of experience in the private equity sector, focusing on technology buyouts, and has worked almost exclusively in private equity throughout his career.
Before founding Elvaston, he worked at General Atlantic in Düsseldorf and London. Prior to that, Oliver Thum was a consultant at Bain & Company in San Francisco.
Oliver holds a PhD and MSc in Engineering-Economic Systems from Stanford University and a diploma in economics from the University of Witten/Herdecke.
